Andrew Kitts and his wife completed the whole route in one day - a fantastic and admirable achievement. A few words from Andrew below:
My wife Stef and I completed the East Devon Way in approximately 15 hours. We started at Exmouth Harbour at 6.15am and finished at Lyme Regis around 9.30pm with our only major break being an hour or so in the Red Lion in Sidbury!
The route is fantastic and capped a spring of training for a 50 mile LDWA event in the Yorkshire Dales (we live in Yorkshire; Stef’s parents in Seaton)
A highlight for me was the huge variation of countryside visited by the way and the excellent route-marking, making navigation generally very easy.
