Walkers have expressed concerns about the road safety aspects of the section of the East Devon Way along Higher Marley Road and the B3179. Please exercise caution on this section. 

 

We are in the process of developing alternative links to between Exmouth and Woodbury Castle whilst we seek to secure a long-term solution to the matter.

 

See an alternative northern link route marked in orange on the map opposite which stays on the riverside slightly more and links Exmouth - Exton - Woodbury - Woodbury Castle.

 

We have marked/signed this new link on the ground now with link discs and signs as required (see below) and will provide a link guide soon to accompany this.
